I used to have a manager who micromanages down to a fault. My current boss is the exact opposite: leaves you to do whatever you want to do, with zero holding hands. I'm freaking out on client presentations, important dates and deliverables etc. which he seems to be indifferent to. He logs off at 5pm everyday and scarecely gives a f lol as a result I end up working 60-70 weeks figuring things out all on my own. Still not sure what to make of this
Isn't it ridiculous how your boss doesn't give a f to your wellness the whole time you worked there but the moment you tell them you quit they start bombing you with these pitches to pretend that they care? For a brief moment they even half-managed to make me doubt my choice. I'm now in my new firm and so happy that I stuck with my decision.
