Marcus is one of the more analytically gifted people on our floor. His equity screening frameworks are genuinely original — the kind of thinking that doesn't come from textbooks. Where he occasionally loses me is in how he handles disagreement. When his conviction is high, he can shut down a room that might have pushed him toward a better answer. Not a dealbreaker by any stretch, but something I noticed more than once over three years.
